최혜심은 서독 Kaiserslautern 대학, Saarbrucken 대학에서 유학 하였으며, 대구대학교에서 조형예술학 석사과정을 밟았다.

각종 국내외아트페어와 미술전에 참여하는 한편, 꾸준히 개인전 을 통해 새로운 주제의 작품을 선보이고 있다. 현재 국제 Art Club Comet, 한국미술협회, 한국 전업미술가협회에 속해 있으며, 삼성현 미술대전 심사위원을 역임했다.

생명의 에너지, 색 그리고 빛

최혜심 작가는 생명의 에너지를 색으로 표현한다. 작가는 자신만의 특정한 스펙트럼의 색을 만들기 위해 수많은 시간과 노력을 아끼지 않는다. 표현 방식 으로 여러 색을 자유자재로 다루며 색이 가진 다양한 의미를 작가만의 시각으로 표현하고자 한다.

작가에게 색은 빛이며 빛은 색이다.
우리는 어딘가에서 반사된 빛의 색을 보았다고 인식 하겠지만, 작가는 눈에 보이지 않는 빛의 색을 포착하고 그리며 그것은 전적으로 감각이며 작가만 의 능력으로 표현된다.

붓 터치에 대한 수많은 고민과 함께 반복되는 이미지의 패턴들이 쌓여 화면에 남게 된다.

Choi, Hyesim studied at Kaiserslautern Fachhochschule and at Saarbrucken Fachhochschule in West Germany. She graduated from the Daegu University with a master’s degree in formative arts.
While participating in various domestic and foreign art fairs and art exhibitions, she is steadily presenting new themed works through solo exhibitions. Currently, she is a member of the International Art Club Comet, the Korean Art Association, and the Korean Professional Artists Association as well.

Energy, color and light of life

Artist Choi, Hyesim expresses the energy of life in color. The artist devotes a lot of time and effort to create a color of her own specific spectrum. It is intended to express various meanings of colors through the artist’s own perspective by freely handling multiple colors in her own way.

For the artist, color is light and light is color.
We recognize that we have seen the color of the light reflected somewhere, but the artist captures and draws the color of the light that is invisible, which is entirely sensational and expressed only by the artist’s ability.

With numerous contemplations about brush touch, repeated image patterns are accumulated and remain on the screen.
